Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Wednesday, May 31 — about your Seattle Seahawks:
Wilson To Host Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards
For the third year in a row, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will host the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards. The event, which is set to air live from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles in July, celebrates "the best in sports and trivial moments in the sports league through 12 categories."
Wilson told People.com: "To be back again is special because I love being around the kids and their energy. We're going to be an awards show that will really try to get the kids involved as much as possible and have as much fun as we can."
Wilson is a nominee in Nickelodeon's "King of Swag" category. Starting today, kids can begin casting their votes for their favorite athletes on Nickelodeon's website and on the network's app. Last year, Wilson took home the mohawked blimp for "Best Cannon."
