Good afternoon, 12s.
Here's a look at what's out there for today — Wednesday, December 6 — about your Seattle Seahawks:
Player Spotlight: Sheldon Richardson
Seahawks defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson was the featured player on 710 ESPN Seattle's "Seahawks Spotlight," a weekday interview segment that airs at 5 p.m. Pacific.
Two days after the Seahawks beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-10 at CenturyLink Field, the veteran Richardson joined "Danny, Dave and Moore" and among many things, talked about his forced fumble that resulted in a touchback for Seattle. It was arguably the most important play from Sunday's win.
"I saw somebody hit him – find out later it was Earl – and then just took my shot," Richardson said of the play. "It was a rip opportunity and I took it. They preach that around here: Get the ball off of him.

John Clayton of 710 ESPN Seattle shared his takeaways from Sunday's win:
*The Seahawks' defenders said they needed to focus better on technique and on their run-stopping positioning. They have. After starting the season allowing a few big plays on the ground, the Seahawks are back where they were last year as one of the best run-stopping units in football. Since the loss in Tennessee in Week 3, the Seahawks are giving up only 3.3 yards a carry. They are particularly good on first down. The Seahawks have allowed 511 yards rushing on first downs – second to the Eagles (412) – but their 2.9 yards per carry average on first down running plays is the best in the league. The combination of Sheldon Richardson and Jarran Reed at defensive tackle with linebacker Bobby Wagner coming up and making tackles has formed a strong interior for stopping the run. *
Wilson was included in ESPN.com's MVP poll heading into Week 14.
