Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Wednesday, March 11 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Seahawks React To Jimmy Graham Trade
The Seahawks stunned the NFL world yesterday when they agreed to a trade with the New Orleans Saints that will send Pro Bowl/All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham and a fourth-round draft pick to Seattle in exchange for Pro Bowl center Max Unger and a first-round draft pick, pending a physical by both players.
In Graham, the Seahawks will receive a 6-foot-5, 265-pound playmaker who has averaged 89 catches for 1,099 yards and 11.5 touchdowns through the past four seasons. As expected in this digital day and age, Twitter's reaction to the blockbuster trade was swift. Impressions from several Seahawks are embedded for you below.
Cary Williams Replaces Byron Maxwell At Cornerback
On top of Tuesday's trade for tight end Jimmy Graham, the Seahawks made the signing of veteran cornerback Cary Williams official.
The 30-year-old seven-year pro comes to Seattle from Philadelphia and essentially swaps places with cornerback Byron Maxwell, who signed with the Eagles on Tuesday.
Tweet Of The Day
Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from ESPN Insider Mike Sando, who reminds how explosive the Seahawks were on offense last season even without the recently added big-play ability of tight end Jimmy Graham.
