"Music was always an outlet for my depression and emotions in general. It helped me cope with a lot of things in life and got me through a lot of tough times."

Artanian Shaw (20)
"The part of Bridge I have enjoyed the most is personally connecting with other artists and hearing new material and the reason is because everyone is collaborating and not just the people in the song, also the people who made the beats, the instrumentals, so they all help create the music and everyone brings it together and it creates relationships between anybody and everybody connecting mentally and emotionally even spiritually you can feel it."

Michael Jones (19)
"Muisc gets me on my feet in the morning, puts a smile on my face and it helps me find who I am when I'm sad or just in a bad mood. Music is the way for me to step outta my bubble and touch people with my words and emotion in ways, that conversation never could."

Andrew Magyar (17)
"Stay in your lane, don't worry about how far ahead other people are. Your time to shine will come eventually. If you're seriously passionate about something, you should be able to do it even when if you hate it."

Wisdom Taylor (14)
"The part of Bridge I have enjoyed the most is being able to create music with people with similar interests."

"Stay strong and never give up on whatever your dream is."

Kyle Crombie (22)
"Who inspires me is most of the youth here in the Bridge Music Program. Some of these teens and adults have had so much hardship in life. Some have lost parents, others have been homeless and gone through poverty as well as some very dark pasts. What inspired me was that even when some can be at their lowest in life, they can bring out such a positive energy as well as amazing creativity and musical genius, every word that comes out of all of our youth is from the heart. Being able to understand one another and being able to except people for who they are that is what is what inspired me. The bonding of friendship, expectance and understanding."

Tim Miller (19)
"I have been making music since I was 12, performing since I was 15, and went on my first tour at 18. Music has really taught me a healthy way to express my emotions and cope with issues that I come across in life. I have also learned that the art that I make has the ability to help others."

Gryffen Murray (21)
"I was homeless for a year. With homelessness came alcoholism and drug addiction. I overcame that battle by using my local resources as well as with support from my family. I worked hard to get where I am at."
