Legion of Youth Powered by Boeing: Workforce Development Center
Legion of Youth, powered by Boeing, is a Seahawks gameday ticket experience for community organizations that serve youth throughout the Northwest. The Seahawks vs. Packers game featured Workforce Development Center. Workforce Development Center provides youth the opportunity to gain essential vocational and life skills necessary to overcome barriers to high school graduation and assists in job placement to facilitate their future as self-sufficient, contributing members of their community. "One of the key skills I have picked up from Work Force Development is working with other people, which is hard for me because I'm a shy person. Everyone at Work Force Development is amazing, they are very nice."

"I am Deaf. Because I cannot hear, my eyes are my ears, so my eyes are focused on what I see in the world. My dream is to become a professional photographer and travel the world to different places. I would like to take pictures of many things, including people, and children while they play. I would like to share my photos with everyone."

It really wasn't until I was challenged like I was at Work Force, that I began to get accustomed to the feeling of success. I got over a lot of the anxiety I felt when I first stepped foot on the work floor. Now, I feel much more confident in myself and feel like I can overcome anything."

"A obstacle that I have overcome is the absence of my dad. He got deported when I was 15 and I took over his landscaping company and over the years since he's been gone, I feel like I know how to run the company now and I understand a lot of the customers."
