A look back at the top 12 moments of Seahawks history from the Kingdome.

After the Seahawks pulled out a 17-12 victory over the New York Giants at Giants Stadium in Week 15, fullback David Hughes wandered through the locker room robotically repeating, "Win one, we're in. Win one, we're in." The Seahawks got that one win the following week, 24-6 over the New England Patriots in their regular-season finale, to clinch the franchise's first playoff berth.

On a Monday night when the Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos 16-13 in overtime, longtime radio play-by-play Pete Gross becomes the fourth person to be induced into the Ring of Honor – two days before he dies after a long battle with cancer.

It didn't happen until Week 9 of their inaugural season, but the Seahawks win their first regular-season game with a 31-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Seahawks roll to a 45-0 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs as they return a league-record four interceptions for touchdowns – two by Dave Brown (90 and 58 yards) and one each by Keith Simpson (76 yards) and Kenny Easley (58 yards).

The team and its fans bid farewell to the Kingdome with a 23-14 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs – the Seahawks' only victory in their final six regular-season games; only to do it again after the Seahawks win the AFC West and end up hosting the Miami Dolphins in a wild-card playoff game. The Seahawks lost that game 20-17.

After being knocked unconscious on a hit from Mike Harden during the season opener in Denver, wide receiver Steve Largent delivers a payback – and fumble-forcing – blow on the Broncos' cornerback after he made an end-zone interception in the Week 15 rematch. The Seahawks also score on their first six possessions and Curt Warner runs for four touchdowns in the 42-14 victory.

In a wild-card playoff game, the Seahawks run the ball 51 times for 205 yards – including 126 yards on 29 carries by Dan Doornink – in handing the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Raiders a 13-7 loss.

In the first playoff game in franchise history, Dave Krieg throws three touchdown passes as the Seahawks slap the Denver Broncos with a 31-7 wild-card loss.
