Seahawks Host Mercy Housing Family

The Seahawks welcomed a family of three currently residing at Mercy Housing to team headquarters on Wednesday, December 12 as part of the team's support of the Mount Baker Family Housing & Resource Center. The family watched practice and met with Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, quarterback Russell Wilson, linebacker Bobby Wagner, and more. The Mount Baker Family Housing & Resource Center, funded through an innovative partnership between Mercy Housing Northwest, Paul G. Allen Philanthropies and the City of Seattle, is expected to open in early 2020. The permanent housing facility and its ground floor Family Resource Center will provide affordable housing and services to Seattle-area families with children experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
