Alen Cisija (he/him) joined the Seahawks in 2018 and is a trusted advisor to the Seahawks, Lumen Field personnel, and senior leadership. He counsels clients on a variety of transactions and oversees litigation and organizational compliance with NFL rules and regulations.
Prior to the Seahawks, Alen was an associate at Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C., where he represented the NFL in litigating player grievances and several leading video game publishers in esports transactions. Before Covington, Alen worked at the NFL Management Council in New York.
Alen is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Oberlin College. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, playing soccer, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. He serves as a mentor in the Sports & Entertainment Equity Network (SEEN) and as Special Advisor to the Washington State Football Coalition. He is also a member of Law360's Sports and Betting editorial board. He resides in Seattle with his wife, Carly. Alen was born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
