Sarita Carter is entering her 36th season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2024.  She was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in May 2021 after spending 19 seasons in the Human Resources department.  Her career started in 1988 as the Front Desk Receptionist and later worked in Community Relations prior to joining the Human Resources department where she has been the Managing Director since 2016.  She is responsible for the day-to-day human resources functions for the Seahawks and First & Goal Inc. including; employee relations & engagement, benefits administration, performance management, recruiting & onboarding, HRIS, compliance, training, policies and strategic planning.  She also oversees the hospitality department and office administrative staff. Sarita serves on the Seattle Leadership Council for UNCF, as well as the Seattle University – MBA Sports & Entertainment Management Advisory Board.  She has also completed the McKinsey Black Executive Leadership Program. Born in Seattle, Wash., she is a graduate of Cleveland High in Seattle and earned her degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University. She and her husband Bryan reside in Federal Way, Wash. and have three children and two grandsons.
