Zach Hensley is the Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center and WAMU Theater. Hensley originally joined the Seahawks family in 2015 as Managing Director of Guest Experience, before being promoted to his current position in 2021. In his role, Hensley oversees and directs all event booking, business development, ticket operations, traffic, parking, security, guest services, facility operations, project development, housekeeping, sustainability, field operations, conversion, logistics and event operations for Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center and WAMU Theater.
Under Hensley's leadership, Lumen Field has expanded its game day experience by adding a new communal field view bar area under the Hawks Nest, thirteen Amazon Just Walk Out Markets the T-Mobile Endzone Club and the 1976 Club. In 2017, Hensley led the creation and implementation of First and Goal Hospitality which oversaw all food and beverage operations at Lumen Field. During the pandemic, Hensley led all stadium efforts to follow Washington State and King County COVID guidelines to allow Lumen Field to host fans safely.
Hensley has over 25 years of experience in stadium operations, hospitality, and customer service. While Hensley has managed numerous facilities throughout his career, he was instrumental in project management, planning, concept design, food service design for the construction and opening of new stadiums including Levi's Stadium in 2014 and the KFC Yum Center in 2010. During his career, he has provided operational guidance for the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, OL Reign, Seattle Sea Dragons, the University of Louisville, Super Bowls, MLS Cups, MLS CONACAF Champions League, NHL All Star Games, NCAA Football Championships, WrestleMania, NHL Stadium Series and NCAA Final Four Championships.
Zach serves on the City Year King County Board, an organization supporting education in Seattle Public School District. He also serves on the Seattle Chamber of Commerce Board and the Stadium Managers Association Board of Directors.
He resides in Bellevue with his wife, Valerie, and two children, Emma, and Chase.
