COLLEGE: Started 25 of 42 games played for the Bulldogs. Totaled 106 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and two sacks in his five seasons (2018-22). Started 25 games to end his career over the final two seasons as the team's best run-stuffer. Chose to play in the ReliaQuest Bowl win over Illinois in part to honor head coach Mike Leach, who died unexpectedly on December 12 after complications from a heart condition.
PERSONAL: Prepped at Franklin County High and was a three-star defensive tackle according to 247Sports. Tabbed the No. 25 overall recruit in Mississippi per 247Sports. As a senior, recorded 51 tackles (43 solo). Added 11.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. As a junior, logged 90 tackles with 10.0 sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery.
