COLLEGE: Started 39 of 46 games played in his Cowboys career. Gibbs concluded his Wyoming career ranked No. 8 in school history in total tackles with 362 career tackles. He was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference in 2022 and 2023 by coaches & media, Pro Football Focus and Phil Steele. Gibbs participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl All-Star game in January to cap his final season. In 2022, recorded the first 100-tackle season of his career, with 121. He became only the 61st Cowboy in the 126-year history of Cowboys football to record 100 tackles in a single season.
PERSONAL: Played linebacker, safety and quarterback for Temecula Valley High. He was rated by Rivals and 247 Sports as a two-star recruit. During his senior season, posted 45 tackles and two interceptions, while passing for 1,619 yards and 24 touchdowns, rushing for 734 yards with nine touchdowns and accounting for 2,353 yards of total offense. He helped lead Temecula Valley to the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section playoffs for Division 8.
