• After spending his rookie year on Buffalo's practice squad, over the last four seasons, has appeared in 59 games, starting 15, with 10 of those starts coming in 2023. He finished the 2023 season with 74 tackles, 2.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Though not an every-down player throughout the season, Dodson was Pro Football Focus' highest graded linebacker with a 90.2 grade, and he was named to that site's All-Breakout Team for the 2023 season.
COLLEGE: Finished his three-year career at Texas A&M (2016-18) with 201 tackles, 6.0 sacks, four interceptions, 11 passes defensed and two fumble recoveries. In his final game in the Gator Bowl vs. N.C. State, posted nine tackles and returned an interception 78 yards for a touchdown. Led the Aggies with 105 tackles and eight pass breakups as a sophomore and was second on the team in sacks, interceptions and tackles for a loss. Given the Defensive Playmaker Award at the team's annual banquet in his final season as a junior.
PERSONAL: Attended Centennial High School. As a senior, recorded 111 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, two interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns. On offense, had over 500 receiving yards and scored 16 touchdowns. Was the 2014 11-3A Defensive MVP named the 2015 Class 5A Mr. Football. Enjoys playing video games and cooking, especially breakfast foods. Competed in football and basketball in high school. Majored in business management.
