The Seahawks gutted out a 6-3 win over the Bears on Thursday night, a win that, as quarterback Geno Smith noted, wasn’t all “sunshine and rainbows,” but it was enough to improve Seattle's record to 9-7 to keep them in the playoff hunt.

In addition to that final score, here are 12 numbers that help tell the story of Thursday night's game:

9

Wins for the Seahawks this season, assuring them of a winning record while making Mike Macdonald the third coach in franchise history to win nine games in his first season as Seattle's head coach along with Chuck Knox and Mike Holmgren, who each went 9-7 in their first years in Seattle.

9

Totals points scored in the game, making it the lowest scoring game in the NFL this season. Thursday's game was also the first to finish 6-3 in the NFL since 2011, a game also featuring the Seahawks, who lost in Cleveland by that margin.

179 and 11

Yards and first downs gained by the Bears, both season-low totals for a Seahawks opponent.

1

Interception recorded by Riq Woolen, a pick that clinched the win while also ending a streak of 354 pass attempts without an interception for Caleb Williams, the fourth-longest in-season streak in NFL history. The Seahawks have had a knack for ending such streaks in recent seasons, snapping Tom Brady's interception-free streak at 399 attempts, just three shy of Aaron Rodgers' record, in 2022, and ending Jared Goff's streak at 383 in 2023. And earlier this season, Josh Allen had not thrown an interception through the first seven weeks of the season before Josh Jobe picked him off.

7

Sacks recorded by the Seahawks, a season high for Seattle's defense.

2.0

Sacks recorded by Leonard Williams, giving him 9.0 this season, the second most in his 10-year career. Williams also had three tackles for loss, upping his season total to a career-best 15, as well as four quarterback hits, giving him 26 this season, the second most in his career.

3

Tackles for loss for cornerback Devon Witherspoon, doubling his season total coming into the game. Witherspoon also had his first sack of the season.

5

Consecutive road wins for the Seahawks, improving their road record to 6-1 this season. That's tied for the second longest road winning streak in team history.

50

Length of Jason Myers' second field goal, which ended up providing the winning margin in the game. With that field goal, Myers has now made eight field goals of 50 or more yards this season, a new career high for him and extending his franchise record in that category.

46

Rushing yards for Kenny McIntosh on seven carries, a career high for the second-year back. McIntosh's day also included a 25-yard run that was the longest of his career.

5

Tackles for Julian Love, who grew up just outside of Chicago, giving him 103 this season, his third consecutive 100-tackle season.

13

Punts between the two teams, with the Bears punting seven times and the Seahawks six times. Surprisingly, given the final score, that was not the most punts in a Seahawks game this season. The Seahawks and Rams combined for 15 punts in LA's 26-20 win in Seattle earlier this season.

The Seahawks defeated the Chicago Bears 6-3 at Soldier Field on Thursday Night Football in Week 17. Check out some of the best moments from the post-game celebration.
