The Seahawks announced on Wednesday that they will be wearing the college navy and wolf grey uniform combo against the Cardinals
The Seahawks will wear their college navy jerseys with wolf grey pants on Sunday afternoon when they face off against the Arizona Cardinals. Sunday's contest against the division rivals will be the 11th time they will have worn this uniform combination since 2012.
The team most recently wore this uniform combination in Week 17 last season. The Seahawks were on a three-game losing streak with their playoff hopes in doubt heading into the Week 17 matchup with the New York Jets.
In a must win game, the Seahawks put together a complete team performance to secure a 23-6 victory over the New York Jets. The offense ran for nearly 200 yards with Kenneth Walker III leading the way with 133 yards, while Geno Smith threw for two touchdowns, both going to tight ends. On the other side of the ball, the defense put together one of their best performances of the season as they held the Jets to 279 yards of offense while forcing three turnovers. The win against the Jets kept the Seahawks playoff hopes alive and would prove to be a critical win.
The Seahawks will look to replicate the success they had the last time they wore these uniforms when they take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Lumen Field.
The Seahawks' college navy jerseys with the wolf grey pants uniform combination is one of least frequently worn uniform combinations having only worn it 10 times since the team debuted them in 2012.
