The NFL began its countdown of the Top 100 Players of 2024 with players No. 100-81 unveiled on Monday, and three Seahawks, receiver DK Metcalf, cornerback Riq Woolen and safety Julian Love all made the list.

Metcalf checks in at No. 84 in the Top 100, his third time making this prestigious list. In 2021, Metcalf ranked 22nd in the Top 100, while he was ranked 81st in 2020 coming off a standout rookie season.

Woolen, who is No. 91 on this year's list, makes the Top 100 for the second time in as many years, having checked in at No. 76 on the list following his rookie season.

Love makes his Top 100 debut at No. 95 on the list following his first season in Seattle, one that saw him earn Pro-Bowl honors for the first time in his career.

Metcalf, a second-round pick in 2019, eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in 2023 for the third time in five seasons, finishing the year with 66 catches for 1,114 yards and eight touchdowns on the way to his second career Pro-Bowl selection.

Through five seasons, Metcalf has already established himself as one of the most productive receivers in franchise history, recording the most receptions (372), receiving yards (5,332) and touchdown receptions (43) through five seasons in franchise history. Metcalf is also one of three players in league history, along with Randy Moss and A.J. Green, to record at least 50 catches, 900 yards and six touchdowns in each of his first five seasons.

After four seasons with the New York Giants, Love joined the Seahawks as a free agent last year, and went on to record career highs in interceptions (4) and passes defensed (10) while also adding 110 tackles and two forced fumbles. Love also earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors, following Seattle's Monday night win over the Eagles, a game in which he had a pair of interceptions, including the game-clinching pick in the fourth quarter. Love also recorded a team-high 13 special teams tackles.

Woolen, who as a rookie earned Pro-Bowl honors and finished third in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting after recording a league-high six interceptions, battled a knee injury prior to the season and an in-season chest injury that limited his production a bit in year two, but he was still able to start 15 games, recording two interceptions, 11 passes defensed and 53 tackles while playing well enough to earn the respect and the Top 100 votes of his peers.

The NFL Top 100 countdown resumes Tuesday with players No. 80-71, and will continue with 10 players announced each weekday through Friday August 2.

Geno Smith and the Seahawks quarterbacks practiced with the rookies on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
