Injury updates from Seahawks coach Pete Carroll as the Seahawks get back on the practice field.

The Seahawks had a weekend off after playing last Thursday night, and they've used that time to get healthy.

RB Chris Carson (foot) and CB Shaquill Griffin (hamstring) – who have each missed the last four games – both returned to practice on Tuesday. The Seahawks are not playing until Monday night in Week 12, so both still have ample time to continue their recoveries.

"They did get out there today," Carroll said. "They were doing all the regular practice stuff today, so that was a good sign."

Here are more injury updates from Carroll's Tuesday press conference:

TE Greg Olsen (foot)

"We're going to shoot for four-to-six weeks, maybe on the early end of that, and see what happens," Carroll said. "Like I told you, he's been through this (injury) before. He knows what he's in for, so he'll know the most as he gets going. He's still pretty sore though right now."

C Ethan Pocic (concussion)

Pocic has missed the last two games due to a concussion, but Carroll said he returned to the practice field for the first time on Tuesday.

LB Darrell Taylor (non-football injury)

"Not yet," Carroll said when asked if Taylor practiced Tuesday. "You know me, I'm always hopeful. We'll see. There's a report coming in today from the docs that we're waiting on."

DT Bryan Mone (ankle)

"With six weeks left, I don't know if we're going to make it (back) or not," Carroll said when asked if Mone would return this season. "If it's possible, he'll do it. Incredible kid. I don't know that though. He's still in a boot hobbling around."

RB Rashaad Penny (ACL)

"They're not going to let him (practice) this week, but we're getting ready to make the call here with him," Carroll said. "He's very close. I wouldn't think he's (more than) two weeks away. There's a really good chance we might get him (at practice) next week. He's really excited about it and feels good about it."

OT Brandon Shell

Shell left Thursday's game with a high-ankle sprain and his status for this week is uncertain.

"He's still hobbling a little bit," Carroll said. "It's going to be a close call to the game. I can't tell you what's going to happen now, but he needs every day (to recover). Tough guy, big strong guy. Sometimes they can handle it better than other guys, but we'll see. It's really day-to-day with him."

RB Travis Homer (wrist)

"Travis is really sore. He has a little something going on in his wrist that we need to take some time for. I don't know that (it'll be) extended weeks, but we have to get him where we can throw him in there and make blocks and do the things he needs to do."

TE Stephen Sullivan (hip)

"He developed a hip flexor area injury that needed surgery, so hopefully we'll get him all fixed up. He just had it on one side, he needed it to get back. He's going back to offense when he gets back, we did that before the move."

RB Bo Scarbrough (hamstring)

Scarbrough left his Seahawks debut on Thursday with a hamstring injury and was reverted back to the practice squad IR. Carroll said his hamstring is torn and he will undergo surgery.
