Q: What has been the best part of being a part of the schedule release plan?
A: "For me, the best part of working on this campaign was the process of designing a cool concept alongside Riq's ideas for his superhero alter- ego. I love sketching and brainstorming new ideas, and I had a great time coming up with a cool pose to show off Riq's unmatched superspeed. I also loved working with the iconic Seahawks color palette; once I started filling in the different blues alongside the striking green, I could really feel it all coming together."

A: "The one thing I want people to take away from the work I did on this Schedule Release is to be inspired. My goal as an artist is to create the best thing I possibly can and fuel the imagination of others. I hope I can fuel their imagination and help them to be inspired to create their own takes on my art or come up with their own concepts/artwork from scratch. The world needs art and art needs more artists and I hope this schedule release will bring more creatives to our space!"

Q: What has been the best part of being a part of the schedule release plan?
A: "The best part, for sure, is merging my passion for comics and the Seahawks into this project. It's been a blast to develop this unique superhero concept. Especially knowing it will be enjoyed by Devon's fans and the team's fans in general is incredibly rewarding. It's an incredible honor to be a part of something that will excite Seahawks fans around the world."

A: "I honestly still can't wrap my head around it. I don't watch the NFL that much so when I was initially approached, I didn't really know a lot about the Seahawks. That said, the pitch for the schedule release was very enticing and I knew I really wanted to be a part of it. I absolutely love superheroes and this seemed like a very exciting project. I enjoyed every stage of this process and I can't wait for people to see the finished product! I take a lot of inspiration from comic books and anime, and my art style is heavily inspired by popular media like Spiderverse and Arcane. I try to take the best elements of these media and incorporate them in my own work."

Q: When someone looks at the work you did for schedule release, what is something you want them to take away from it?
A: "When people look at my work, I want to reawaken that sense of unrelenting creativity we all possessed in our childhood. Many people (myself included) played with clay, drew, and made crafts when we were kids. In adult life, it's much harder to find the time and inspiration to make art. Through clay, I want my work to evoke not only nostalgia, but a burning desire to create again no matter what age you are."

Q: How would you describe your work?
A: "My work comes from a place of joy and playfulness, with organic but calculated linework and colors often inspired by the tropical or lemon-lime candy color-scape of the 90s. Whether it's a vector illustration or resin-dipped painting, my approach is the same: to create a piece of ripe fruit - vibrant, shiny, and sweet."

Keith Smith: @_smitty__

Smith played Division 1 basketball at the University of Oregon and Pepperdine University where he also discovered his passion for art. Specializing in illustration, the athlete turned artist is completely self-taught, experimenting and mastering his craft as he goes.
Q: How does it feel for the Seattle Seahawks to be showcasing your work?
A: "Growing up in Seattle it became sort of a ritual for my mom to put on the Seahawks games in our house every Sunday and watch as a family. She would cheer so loud at the TV the whole neighborhood could hear her. For the Seahawks to now be showcasing my artwork, it feels surreal, a true full circle moment for me. I think the best part of this whole project was being assigned Geno Smith as the player for my cover. I've been following Geno all the way back to when he was at West Virginia. He was one of my favorite players in college, and was my pick to win the Heisman Trophy his senior year. To see his pro career finally blossom in Seattle is really cool, and I hope he enjoys the artwork I've created."

Lindsay for Heavy Metal magazine, and he's done covers for titles like Red Sonja, Stranger Things and Transformers.
Q: How would you describe your work?
A: "I tried my best to make the artwork feel dynamic and natural. While I like it to have many details, I think it's way more important to achieve a connection between what I do and the viewer."

The 2024 NFL schedule is finally available so check out an early look at some of the potential key matchups for the Seahawks upcoming season. For ticket information head to Seahawks.com/Tickets.

Seahawks vs. Broncos will feature a matchup between two of the league's best at their respective positions. WR DK Metcalf and CB Patrick Surtain II could be an important matchup to look out for when Denver travels to Seattle.

Seahawks at Patriots could be a physical battle in the trenches as Seahawks G Laken Tomlinson will look to prevent Patriots DT Christian Barmore from disrupting the game when Seattle travels to Foxborough.

Speed will be showcased in this matchup as it features two players who are among the fastest in the NFL. All eyes will be on CB Riq Woolen and the Seahawks secondary as they will look to slow down WR Tyreek Hill and the speedy Miami offense when they make the trip to Seattle.

A matchup between two standout rookies from the 2023 season will take place in Detroit when WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks face off against DB Brian Branch and the Lions.

Giants DT Dexter Lawrence has been a force in the middle of the Giants defense as he has earned All-Pro nominations each of the past two seasons. Seahawks C Olu Oluwatimi and the offensive line will play a key role in slowing down on the best interior defensive lineman in the NFL when the Giants travel to Seattle.

49ers defensive end and 2022 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa has been one of the league's best defensive players since being selected second overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. Tackle Charles Cross and the Seahawks offensive line will be challenged with stopping the 4X Pro Bowler when the division rival 49ers head to Seattle.

Falcons second year running back Bijan Robinson is a big play waiting to happen in both the run and pass game so look out for Seahawks S Julian Love to make an impact in coverage and around the line of scrimmage when the team travels to Atlanta.

Seahawks vs. Bills will be a battle between two Pro Bowl quarterbacks in Geno Smith and Josh Allen when Buffalo travels across the country to take on the Seahawks at Lumen Field.

Super Bowl LVI MVP WR Cooper Kupp has been one of the focal points of the Rams offense since joining the league in 2017 so slowing him down will be will one of the keys to victory for CB Devon Witherspoon and the Seahawks defense when the Rams head to Seattle for a divisional matchup at Lumen Field.

LB Fred Warner and 49ers will have all eyes on Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III when Seattle travels to the Bay Area.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is a threat with both his arm and his legs so LB Uchenna Nwosu and the Seahawks defense will be tasked with keeping the former number one overall pick contained when Arizona travels to Seattle.

Jets CB Sauce Gardner has been a lockdown cornerback in each of his first two seasons in the league, earning two First-team All-Pro nominations. Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett against the Jets secondary will be an exciting matchup to watch when Seattle travels to New Jersey.

The Packers added Pro Bowl running back Josh Jacobs to their offense this offseason so DL Leonard Williams and the Seahawks defense will aim to slow down the Packers rushing attack when the Green Bay makes the trip to Seattle

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson has had a record breaking start to his NFL career with nearly 5,900 yards in his first four seasons. Slowing Jefferson down will be a point of emphasis for CB Tre Brown and the Seahawks defense when Minnesota travels to Seattle.

Seahawks at Bears will feature a matchup between the team's first round picks in number one overall pick QB Caleb Williams and 16th overall pick DT Byron Murphy II when Seattle travels to the Windy City.

QB Matthew Stafford and the explosive Rams offensive will host the Seahawks in L.A. where LB Boye Mafe and the Seahawks defense will look to put pressure on the quarterback.
