Friday Round-Up: NFL.com Picks 5 NFL Players As Star Wars Characters

NFL.com compared five players to characters from the acclaimed film Star Wars.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's out there for today — Friday, December 15 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

NFL Players As Star Wars Characters

This weekend, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" opens across the country at more than 4,100 theaters domestically. To honor the films release, NFL.com's Daniel Greco and Scott O'Malley compared NFL players with several Star Wars characters.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was one of the five players the authors looked at compared him to Finn, a stormtrooper that is played by actor John Boyega:

*During the draft process, Wilson had a huge question mark above his head due to his 5'11" height. Well, after winning a Super Bowl championship and he has the 8-5 Seahawks on the verge of completing their sixth consecutive winning season, obviously the Seahawks made the right decision drafting him in the third round. Now, Wilson is having an MVP type of season, scoring 32 total touchdowns. *
