Seahawks Draft Guard Grey Zabel

On Day 1 of the NFL Draft, Seattle addressed its need at offensive line by drafting their highest rated interior offensive lineman, Grey Zabel. Zabel, a self-proclaimed, "family, football and farming," guy is the highest interior player the Seahawks have selected since Hall of Famer Steve Hutchinson was drafted 17th overall in 2001. Zabel said, "It's just so unbelievable to, one, be drafted to an organization like the Seahawks, and two, to get that call with friends and family all around me. Man, it's a lifelong dream of playing the NFL, and I'm super excited to get to work."

NFL Schedule Release

The NFL announced the date for the NFL schedule release during the draft on Thursday. Games for all 32 teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 14.
