1978: The Seahawks intercept Ken Stabler four times and hold the Oakland Raiders to 70 rushing yards in a 27-7 victory at the Kingdome. The Seahawks rush for 204 yards, including 63 each by Jim Zorn and Sherman Smith, who also runs for two touchdowns.

1989: David Treadwell kicks a 27-yard field goal midway through the overtime period to give the Denver Broncos a 24-21 victory over the Seahawks at the Kingdome. John L. Williams runs for one touchdown and also catches a TD pass from Dave Krieg in staking the Seahawks to a 14-0 lead.

1995: Chris Warren runs for 112 yards and two touchdowns, but Stan Humphries passes for three scores as the San Diego Chargers hand the Seahawks a 35-25 loss at the Kingdome.

2000: The Seahawks take a 3-0 lead on a 44-yard field goal by Rian Lindell, but the Raiders reel off 31 unanswered points during a 31-3 victory in Oakland. Tyrone Wheatley rushes for 156 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown run; and Rich Gannon passes for three TDs, including two to Tim Brown.

2006: Matt Hasselbeck injuries his right knee during a 31-13 loss to the Vikings in Seattle. Hasselbeck misses the next four games and backup Seneca Wallace is 2-2 as the starter. Hasselbeck returned to lead the Seahawks to their third consecutive NFC West title and fourth playoff berth in as many season.
