A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on July 20:
2002
The grand opening of Seahawks Stadium, built on the site where the Kingdome once stood, begins with Public Fan Fare Days and is followed by three weeks of public open houses. The name of the stadium was changed to Qwest Field in 2004 and it became CenturyLink Field in 2011.
1985
The Seahawks open their 10th training camp at Eastern Washington University in Cheney. It is billed as their "final" summer at EWU, since camp would move to Kirkland in 1986. But the Seahawks returned to EWU from 1997-2006.
