2002: It is announced that Seahawks Stadium and Exhibition Center will be the interim name of the team's new home field that is being built on the site where the Kingdome had stood. The name of the complex was changed to Qwest Field in 2004 and in 2011 it became CenturyLink Field and Event Center.
