1993:Former Cowboys wide receiver Kelvin Martin is signed in free agency. He would start 29 games, catch 113 passes and lead the team in touchdown receptions (five in '93) in his two seasons with the team.

2013: Matt Flynn is traded to the Raiders for a conditional draft choice that ends up being a fifth-rounder in the 2014 NFL Draft. Flynn had been signed in free agency in 2012, but ended up being the backup quarterback as rookie Russell Wilson won the starting job.
