2008: Pro Bowl middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu is signed to a multiyear extension. Tatupu becomes the only player in franchise history to lead the team in tackles four consecutive seasons (2005-08), but he was released in 2010. He returned this offseason to be the assistant linebackers on the staff of coach Pete Carroll, who had coached Tatupu at USC.
