Running Back Fred Jackson Scores First Touchdown as a Seahawk

The Seahawks running back scored his first touchdown for the Seahawks in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.

Welcome to Seattle, Fred Jackson.

The veteran running back brought exactly what coach Pete Carroll had hoped he would when the Seahawks signed him just before the start of the regular season, hauling in a 5-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Russell Wilson in the third quarter of Sunday night's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Carroll said the team valued Jackson's ability as a pass blocker and pass catcher and Jackson's first score in a Seahawks uniform came through the air, helped cut into Green Bay's lead, 13-10.
