RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today enhancements to the fan experience on gamedays at CenturyLink Field.
The Seahawks are always looking to exceed fan expectations every opportunity and fan feedback collected throughout the season played a vital role in many of the new gameday upgrades. New enhancements in 2016 include:
- This past offseason, the Seahawks installed a high definition LED board below the upper bowl to display greater content inside CenturyLink Field, including more player stats and game updates from around the league.
- The Seahawks have implemented walk-through metal detectors at all entry gates to increase security and safety measures while expediting entry. As a reminder, fans may carry only the following style and size bag, package, or container into CenturyLink Field, CenturyLink Field Event Center (home of Touchdown City) or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium.
* <span style="line-height: 1.5em;"></span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"</span>
* <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)</span>
* <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options</span>
* <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Fans with medical equipment are encouraged to enter the stadium through the West gate</span>
* Renovations have been made at select Pro Shop locations throughout CenturyLink Field to create a more convenient walk-in shopping experience and an increased merchandise selection. * Last week, the Seahawks announced a broad list of food and beverage enhancements, with more craft brew options, exciting new cuisine and local chef-inspired recipes. Grab-and-go options will also be offered throughout the stadium.
Fans are also encouraged to download the Seahawks Mobile App to improve their game day experience. The app allows fans quick access to a variety of stats, extensive stadium and game day information and "Eye of the Hawk" video feature which offers live and on-demand video from eight different angles while at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawk Mobile App also allows fans to manage their account by transferring tickets to friends, securely posting tickets for resale on NFL Ticket Exchange and downloading game tickets to a mobile phone.
