RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks announced a five-year extension with Q13 FOX as the official television partner of the Seattle Seahawks. Q13 FOX has been the home of the Seahawks since 2012. The announcement was made tonight by Seahawks President Peter McLoughlin and Q13 FOX Senior Vice President/General Manager Pam Pearson during the Seahawks vs. Cowboys game.
As the home of the Seahawks, Q13 FOX will continue to air preseason games, including all four this season. Seahawks preseason games are the highest rated local programming in the market and have increased 121% since the partnership began in 2012. All preseason games are re-broadcast on Q13 FOX's sister station JOEtv (KZJO – channel 22, cable 10) at 3 p.m. on the following Sunday. Q13 FOX also carries the majority of Seahawks regular season games via their FOX broadcasting affiliation.
Per the agreement, Q13 FOX will produce pre and postgame shows for every Seahawks game as the station has done since 2012.
Q13 FOX will continue to air "Seahawks Saturday Night" weekly throughout the season. "Seahawks Saturday Night" airs Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. on JOEtv and 10:30 p.m. on Q13 FOX. The show is hosted by Q13 FOX sports director Aaron Levine and features a complete analysis of the upcoming match-ups along with total access to players and coaches. The show includes:
• Exclusive "Mic'd Up" content taken from a different player each week
• Pete Carroll 1-on-1 interview with Levine
• Analysis from former Seahawks linebacker Dave Wyman
In 2014, Q13 FOX broadcast Seattle's victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, along with the Seahawks victory parade. The Super Bowl returns to FOX in 2017.
