The Seattle Seahawks announced today the dates and routes for this summer's 12 Tour, presented by Safeway.  The 12 Tour will feature Seahawks players, Sea Gals, Blue Thunder, team mascot Blitz, emcee Gee Scott, from 710 ESPN Seattle, and DJ Supa Sam who will be traveling in a Seahawks wrapped motor coach the weekends of June 16-18 and June 23-25.

Seahawks linemen George Fant and Germain Ifedi will participate in the first leg.  Seahawks center Joey Hunt and running back C.J. Prosise will participate in the second leg.

"I'm happy to be back on this year's 12 Tour," said Seahawks G/T Germain Ifedi.  "It's a great opportunity to meet the 12s and tour this great state."

The team will depart on Friday, June 16 and travel east with confirmed stops in Yakima for a public 12 Flag event at the Valley Mall on route to Richland and the John Dam Plaza. The team will spend Saturday, June 17 in Walla Walla with an appearance at the Sweet Onion Festival and head west on Sunday, June 18 with one confirmed stop in Othello at Lions Park.

"Last year I travelled with the 12 Tour to the south with stops in Centralia, Vancouver, Portland and Tacoma and the positive response from the fans just blew me away," said Seahawks T George Fant.  "I'm looking forward to meeting fans on the east side of the state."  

Similar to last year, the tour will make surprise stops at Safeway store locations throughout the tour.  

"Our goal as the Seahawks Official Supermarket is to provide special Seahawks experiences to 12s throughout all the communities we serve," said Safeway Director of Marketing Joe Chandler.  "For this reason, we are proud to support the 12 Tour and look forward to this traveling celebration of the team and fans in preparation for the upcoming season."

On Friday, June 23 the team will travel north on route to Bellinghamwith one confirmed stop in Anacortes.   The team will spend Saturday, June 24 in Bellingham with an appearance at Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema and head south on Sunday, June 25 with one confirmed stop in Everett.
