Seahawks Announce the Week 9 CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week

Katelyn Dillon of Liberty High School (Spangle, Wash.) is the week nine CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week.

SEATTLE and RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL), Q13 FOX (KCPQ), and Sports Authority announced today Katelyn Dillon of Liberty High School (Spangle, Wash.) as the week nine CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week. Katelyn will be at CenturyLink Field during the November 22game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Katelyn, a sophomore at Liberty High School, was selected to be the Athlete of the Week based on her dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, and athletic performance. Katelyn has earned a perfect 4.0 GPA while being enrolled in pre-AP and Honors courses.  She is a member of the "Change to World" peer organization which aims to initiate community service in high school students.  Katelyn has helped to eliminate deficiencies in new born babies through Project Eliminate and has also organized a toy drive for childhood cancer patients at Sacred Heart Hospital. Katelyn is the captain of the Liberty High School JV volleyball team.

As the CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week, the student-athlete will also be recognized at their school in front of their family, peers and teachers. They will also receive a $1,200 gift card supported by Sports Authority from CenturyLink and the Seahawks for their school's ASB fund, in addition to media recognition, tickets and sideline passes to a Seahawks game, and a customized Nike Seahawks jersey.
