The Seahawks have named Joey Laine the team's new vice president of football administration.

Laine, who most recently served as the salary cap analyst for the Green Bay Packers, brings nearly two decades of NFL front office experience to Seattle. Laine replaces Matt Thomas, who has left the organization after 11 seasons in Seattle.

Prior to joining the Packers, Laine spent seven seasons as the Bears' director of football administration, working as Chicago's chief contract negotiator while also overseeing the overall health of the team's salary cap and strategic planning, and while ensuring CBA compliance.

A graduate of the University of New Orleans, Laine earned his MBA from Tulane before beginning his career in the NFL as a football operations intern in 2005. Laine's 10 seasons with the Saints included six seasons as the team's salary cap analyst.

The NFL held their annual league meeting from March 24, 2024 through March 26, 2024. The league holds these meetings each offseason in order to decide on various rules changes and implement new strategies to improve the game. Check out some of the best photos of the head coaches from the meetings.
