RENTON, WASH. – The Seattle Seahawks have selected Fredi Dubon, Day Worker Center Coordinator at Casa Latina, as the recipient of the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award.
The NFL, Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) and Nationwide have partnered for the ninth annual NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Awards during the 2019 celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The awards recognize the contributions of Hispanic leaders in each NFL market.
Fredi Dubon is the Day Worker Center Coordinator at Casa Latina. In this role, Fredi supports and connects Latino immigrant community members in the Seattle area to short and long-term employment opportunities. He goes above and beyond to make both job-seekers and employers reach their goals in a safe, friendly working environment. Fredi is also an OSHA-certified Health & Safety trainer, continuing efforts and emphasis of safety in the workplace. Fredi is highly regarded by his coworkers and is also a devoted family man.
Each award recipient will select an organization of their choice that serves the local Hispanic community to receive a $2,000 donation. Fredi has chosen the Casa Latina to receive this donation.
