The Seahawks kick off the 2023 NFL season Sunday, against the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field. Before kickoff, Seattle will get a hand in raising the 12 Flag from Legend running back Ricky Watters.
The 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame semifinalist nominee spent his final four seasons of a 10-year career with the Seahawks, recording 4,009 rushing yards, 22 rushing touchdowns and four receiving scores. As a dual-threat back, Watters caught 166 passes for an average of 8.9 yards per catch.
Prior to joining the Seahawks, Watters was a five-time Pro-Bowler with the 49ers and Eagles, and he rushed for more than 1,000 yards in seven of 10 seasons, finishing his career with 10,643 yards and 91 total touchdowns.
