Seahawks Make Roster Moves

Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have released wide receiver B.J. Daniels and signed running back Bryce Brown to the 53-man active roster, the team announced this afternoon.

Brown was originally drafted in the seventh-round (229th overall) by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Eagles before being traded to Buffalo on May 10, 2014. In three seasons, he has played in 39 games with seven starts, rushing 226 times for 1,004 yards and six touchdowns. He also has recorded 37 receptions for 316 yards.

Daniels was claimed off waivers (San Francisco) by Seattle in 2013 and he made his NFL debut this season, playing in four games with one reception for 12 yards.
