Renton, Wash. -The Seattle Seahawks have placed running back Thomas Rawls on injured reserve and signed running back Bryce Brown, the team announced this afternoon.
Rawls started seven of 13 games this season and leads the team in rushing with 830 yards on 147 carries with four touchdowns. His 209-yard rushing game vs. San Francisco (11/22) set the franchise mark for rushing yards by a rookie and ranks second in franchise history for rushing yards in a single game.
Brown most recently was released by Seattle on November 28 and has been inactive for two games this season (at Dallas, vs. Arizona).Â
