Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have released long snapper Nate Boyer and signed quarterback Jake Waters, the team announced this morning.
Waters originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent in May but was released in June. During his senior season at Kansas State, Waters threw for a school single-season record 3,501 yards and added 22 touchdowns, with 1,515 yards and 11 touchdowns going to Seattle's third-round draft choice, Tyler Lockett.
