The 2022 NFL schedule announcement is coming next month, with the Seahawks and the league's 31 other teams learning their schedules on May 12. The announcement will be made on NFL.com as well as Seahawks.com at 5 p.m. PT, and the NFL Network will air Schedule Release 22 presented by Verizon starting at that time.
Additionally, the league announced that international games will be announced on Wednesday, May 4, an announcement that should be of interest to Seahawks fans considering three of their road opponents have been announced as hosts of international games, with Tampa Bay playing in Munich, New Orleans playing in London and Arizona playing in Mexico City.
The NFL will also announce the first Thursday Night Football matchup (Week 2) on Thursday, April 28 during the first round of the NFL Draft. Select matchups will also be announced on May 9, and teams will announce their first home game opponent on Thursday, May 12 at 3 p.m. PT.
While fans still have to wait until next month for the schedule, the Seahawks 2022 opponents are already set. The Seahawks will host games against the Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Falcons, Panthers, Broncos, Raiders, Giants and Jets, and they will play road games against the Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Saints, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Chargers and Lions.
