Seahawks Sign Ahtyba Rubin

Ahtyba Rubin was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 24th pick in the sixth round (190th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.

Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have signed defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin, the club announced today.

Rubin was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 24th pick in the sixth round (190th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. In seven seasons with the Browns, Rubin played in 100 games with 75 starts and recorded 338 tackles (212 solo), 12.0 sacks, one interception, five passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. In 2010, he led all NFL defensive linemen with 82 tackles and finished second in 2011 with 83 tackles.
