The Seahawks made a roster move Wednesday, adding running back depth ahead of their preseason opener. Seattle signed running back Gerald Holmes, an undrafted rookie out of Michigan State, and waived receiver Marvin Bracy.
Holmes, who is, 6-foot-1, 231-pounds, started five games for the Spartans last season and appeared in 11, rushing for 287 yards on 79 carries, and 80 receiving yards on eight catches. A Flint, Michigan native, Holmes rushed for a career-best 540 yards and eight touchdowns on 110 carries in 2015.
Bracy, a former Olympic sprinter, signed with the Seahawks last week.
