Starbucks is throwing a birthday party for the Pumpkin Spice Latte this Thursday to mark the 21st birthday of its debut, and the 12s are invited. Before heading to Lumen Field to see the Seahawks take on the 49ers for Thursday Night Football, fans are encouraged to stop by Starbucks SODO Reserve location from 12-3 p.m. for drink samples, small bites and a live DJ. Seahawks Legend Marcus Trufant and mascot Blitz will also be in attendance to join in the festivities.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte was developed in 2003 in the "Liquid Lab," a research and development space located at the Starbucks headquarters in Seattle.
