RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today registration is open for the inaugural NFL Flag Football Jamboree to be held at French Field in Kent, on Saturday, April 30. The jamboree is free and open to boys and girls in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The event is in partnership with Northwest Premier Flag Football.
The jamboree will serve as the backdrop for the Seahawks fourth and fifth round picks which will air live on NFL NETWORK.
WHO: 250 local boys and girls in grades kindergarten through 8th Grade and Seahawks Legend Lawyer Milloy.
WHAT: The round-robin jamboree will feature 24 teams comprised of 10-14 players per team in four separate divisions. Divisions are outlined below.
- K-2nd grade (5 on 5 NFL Flag)
- 3rd/4th grade (5 on 5 NFL Flag)
- 5th/6th grade (7 on 7 Elite Flag)
- 7th/8th grade (7 on 7 Elite Flag)
NFL Flag 5 on 5: Playing field is 25 yards wide by 53 yards long, plus five yard end zone.
NFL Flag 7 on 7: Playing field is 40 yards in length, plus a 10 yard end zone.
