Seahawks Waive/Injured LB Christian French, Sign LB Khairi Fortt

The Seahawks made a roster move Monday, waiving/injured linebacker Christian French and signing linebacker Khairi Fortt.

Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have waived/injured linebacker Christian French and signed linebacker Khairi Fortt, the team announced this afternoon.

French signed with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft.

Fortt was originally drafted by New Orleans in the fourth round (126th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was waived on October 6, 2014 and signed off waivers by Cincinnati on October 7, 2014. He was released by Cincinnati on October 14, 2014 and signed to Cincinnati's practice squad on October 16. On November 3, 2014, he was signed to Jacksonville's active roster, where he played in three games. He was released by Jacksonville on August 29, 2015.
