The Seahawks have waived quarterback Stephen Morris, the team announced Friday afternoon.
Morris, 25, originally joined Seattle last month after spending time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington Redskins throughout the past four years.
Morris' departure leaves the Seahawks with three quarterbacks on the active roster, a list that includes starter Russell Wilson and year's backup Austin Davis, as well as Alex McGough, who Seattle selected in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Florida International University.
