Pick: Grey Zabel, G/C, North Dakota State
"With an elite Next Gen Stats athleticism score of 90 and the ability to play multiple positions, Zabel profiles as a plug-and-play interior lineman who can slide outside if needed."
Pick: Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
"The Seahawks would have hoped Jihaad Campbell fell here, but it wasn't in the cards. They instead take the best edge rusher available. Ezeiruaku had a dominant pass-rushing season in 2024, earning an elite 90.5 PFF pass-rushing grade to go along with 14 sacks, 20 quarterback hits and 26 hurries."
Pick: Grey Zabel, G/C, North Dakota State
"It might seem early for an FCS interior offensive lineman, but Zabel proved at the Senior Bowl that he absolutely belongs in this conversation. The Seahawks' issues with inside protection are clear, and Zabel has the footwork, technique and power to instantly improve things there. And his versatility means Seattle could move him wherever he's needed."
Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
"Another collegiate tackle who could move inside to guard -- if needed -- in the NFL. The Seahawks offensive line was an abomination in 2024, and with Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas drafted in the same year, it may be difficult for Seattle to extend both blockers. In that case, Banks can kick outside."
Pick: Grey Zabel, G/C, North Dakota State
"After not doing much to address the offensive line in free agency, the Seahawks will be hunting for interior offensive linemen in the first few rounds. A college left tackle, Zabel is an above-average athlete for 312 pounds and has crushed every step of the draft process. He's secured a spot in the top 32."
Pick: Grey Zabel, G/C, North Dakota State
"Sam Darnold is now in place at quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He has Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp as his top receivers, after the organization moved past DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
Both of the top tight end prospects are already off the board. The Seahawks now need to concentrate on where their biggest issues still lie, which is along the offensive line.
North Dakota State's Grey Zabel is this year's version of duct tape. If there's a problem that needs to be fixed along the offensive line, insert Zabel. He can play any of the five positions.
"Seattle's move to a zone-based run scheme this offseason likely places a premium on Zabel's starter-level movement skills, body control and run blocking prowess," Thorn said. "He is a technician with excellent footwork and sustain skills, who can be the top center or guard from Day 1 on this particular roster while giving the team solid value in the middle of the first round."
