This week, NFL coaches, owners and scouts are in Indianapolis for the NFL. And in about two months the NFL Draft will happen April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Seattle Seahawks hold the No. 18 overall selection in the first round. Here's what the national media thinks Seattle will do with their first-rounder.

Here is a look at the current draft order:

  1. Tennessee Titans
  2. Cleveland Browns
  3. New York Giants
  4. New England Patriots
  5. Jacksonville Jaguars
  6. Las Vegas Raiders
  7. New York Jets
  8. Carolina Panthers
  9. New Orleans Saints
  10. Chicago Bears
  11. San Francisco 49ers
  12. Dallas Cowboys
  13. Miami Dolphins
  14. Indianapolis Colts
  15. Atlanta Falcons
  16. Arizona Cardinals
  17. Cincinnati Bengals
  18. Seattle Seahawks
  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  20. Denver Broncos
  21. Pittsburgh Steelers
  22. Los Angeles Chargers
  23. Green Bay Packers
  24. Minnesota Vikings
  25. Houston Texans
  26. Los Angeles Rams
  27. Baltimore Ravens
  28. Detroit Lions
  29. Washington Commanders
  30. Buffalo Bills
  31. Kansas City Chiefs
  32. Philadelphia Eagles

Pick: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

"Mike Macdonald rekindles some Kyle Hamilton vibes with Emmanwori here."

Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

"The Seahawks desperately need interior offensive line help, but they may be able to wait until Day 2 to find it. Another option in the first round could be Campbell, the top-ranked linebacker on PFF's big board."

Pick: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

"The team's pressing offensive line needs are surely top of mind for GM John Schneider and head coach Mike Macdonald. Simmons' 6-5, 310-pound frame and impressive skill set make him a natural fit for a team that wants to emphasize a balanced offensive attack."

Pick: Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama

"Booker might be the best guard in the draft and Seattle needs to protect Geno Smith more successfully. He was sacked 50 times last season, trailing only Caleb Williams (68) and C.J. Stroud (52). They've already invested in Abraham Lucas and Charles Cross at each tackle spot, and the Alabama guard was a First Team All-SEC selection in 2024 as well as a Freshman All-SEC in 2022. According to PFF, he recorded 2,007 blocking snaps in three seasons and allowed just two sacks in that span — with both coming in the 2023 season."

Pick: Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama

"The Seahawks allowed 54 sacks in 2024, tied for the third most in the NFL, and starting left guard Laken Tomlinson is a free agent. Perhaps Seattle signs a veteran replacement, but Booker offers a plug-and-play starter who should be a core contributor for several years. Carrying a physical build at 6' 5", 325 pounds, Booker is a strong, consistent finisher in the run game, and he didn't allow a sack in his final season at Alabama. He spent the past two seasons at left guard but has also made appearances at left tackle and right guard."

Pick: Armand Membou, OT/G, Missouri

"One year after saying that guards too often are overdrafted and overpaid, general manager John Schneider might be setting the table to use his top pick to address his team's glaring deficiency on the interior. Membou's 6-foot-3, 332-pound frame portends a move inside, and he has the right disposition and skill set as a run blocker to help accelerate head coach Mike Macdonald's effort to transform the offense into a punishing, ground-centric attack."

Pick: Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama

"Booker is the best pure guard in this class. And while addressing the interior might not be the most exciting first-round pick, it's a problem in Seattle. Laken Tomlinson is a free agent, and the middle of the Seahawks' offensive line contributed to the team's 54 sacks allowed (tied for third most). Booker is strong enough to anchor, allowing one sack in three seasons at Alabama. And he is able to open running lanes, which could pop Kenneth Walker III for some big runs."

Pick: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

"Offensive line is definitely going to be looked at here, but the Seahawks instead add blocking help elsewhere by adding Warren to a room with Noah Fant and the promising AJ Barner. Warren has real in-line blocking potential and can align across the formation as a receiver. His versatility fits perfectly with Klint Kubiak's preference for using two tight ends or a fullback on early downs."
