After the NFL Combine, coaches, staff and scouts had a chance to evaluate potential draft picks and that also means updated mock drafts with what reporters saw from prospects. Pick: Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan

"Don't be fooled by the fact that Kenneth Grant weighs 331 pounds. He's a freakish athlete for any size and has a knack for getting his hands up in passing lane and knocking the ball down. He has a surprisingly quick first step and uses his hands well to shoot gaps and be a disruptive presence in the backfield. For me, he's more explosive and consistent than Kris Jenkins, his former teammate and Bengals second-rounder in 2024."

Pick: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

"Nick Emmanwori said he models his game after Kyle Hamilton, arguably the best safety in the NFL at only 23 years old. It just so happens that Seahawks head coach Mike McDonald was the Ravens defensive coordinator for Hamilton's first two years in the NFL, so he would know exactly how to maximize the potential of the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Emmanwori."

Pick: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

"Emmanwori enjoyed a historic combine: a 4.38-second 40-yard dash, a 43-inch vertical jump and an 11-foot, 6-inch broad jump at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds. His game as a hybrid box safety won't be for every defense, as he can struggle when asked to flip his hips in coverage. However, I like him in Mike Macdonald's defense as a Kyle Hamilton-esque box defender."

Pick: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

"Geno Smith has stacked three straight above-average seasons, but the Seahawks don't have a playoff win to show for it. He also threw 15 picks last year, his most since he was a rookie."

Pick: Donovan Jackson, G, Ohio State

"Jackson is a big, athletic guard who has good length. He has traits that can make him a standout zone blocker in Seattle's run scheme."

Pick: Tyler Booker, G, Alabama

"There are major offensive line questions in Seattle besides left tackle Charles Cross. Right tackle Abraham Lucas has battled injuries, and the Seahawks ranked 28th in run block win rate and 21st in pass block win rate in 2024. Booker, meanwhile, is one of the cleanest evaluations of the 2025 class. He's a steady pass protector who didn't allow a single pressure all season, and his physical demeanor makes his run blocking overwhelming at the point of attack.

He's a guard-only prospect, so some teams have Booker as a mid-to-late Round 1 pick due to lack of positional versatility and his gap-scheme-only fit. But I have a hard time seeing him last beyond the top 20, and Seattle needs guards."

Pick: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

"Offensive line is definitely going to be looked at here, but the Seahawks instead add blocking help elsewhere by adding Warren to a room with Noah Fant and the promising AJ Barner. Warren has real in-line blocking potential and can align across the formation as a receiver. His versatility fits perfectly with Klint Kubiak's preference for using two tight ends or a fullback on early downs."

Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

"Though his off-ball instincts are still developing, Campbell didn't post 117 tackles last season on accident. His explosive speed and finishing skills are traits that make him a playmaker in the front seven."

Pick: Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

"The Seahawks desperately need to add talent to their offensive line, and they do so here. Membou was a standout performer at right tackle for the Tigers and could play that spot for Seattle, but he also brings a stout, powerful frame that makes him a great fit at guard. Seattle will want to run the ball in 2025, and Membou should provide some help with that goal."

Seahawks safety Coby Bryant had a breakout season in 2024, recording 73 tackles and tying the team lead with three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. Check out the best photos from Bryant's third season in the NFL.
