Seahawks Mock Draft Tracker 04-01-2025

The NFL Draft is a little under a month out and the Seattle Seahawks hold the No. 18 overall selection in the first round. Here's what the national media thinks Seattle will do with its first-rounder.

Here is a look at the current draft order:

  1. Tennessee Titans
  2. Cleveland Browns
  3. New York Giants
  4. New England Patriots
  5. Jacksonville Jaguars
  6. Las Vegas Raiders
  7. New York Jets
  8. Carolina Panthers
  9. New Orleans Saints
  10. Chicago Bears
  11. San Francisco 49ers
  12. Dallas Cowboys
  13. Miami Dolphins
  14. Indianapolis Colts
  15. Atlanta Falcons
  16. Arizona Cardinals
  17. Cincinnati Bengals
  18. Seattle Seahawks
  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  20. Denver Broncos
  21. Pittsburgh Steelers
  22. Los Angeles Chargers
  23. Green Bay Packers
  24. Minnesota Vikings
  25. Houston Texans

Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas

"The Seahawks offensive line struggled mightily last season. That unit surrendered a quarterback pressure rate of 39.4%, the third-highest in the entire NFL, while also allowing 54 sacks, tied for the third-most in the league. New quarterback Sam Darnold was last seen melting under pressure in the postseason with the Vikings, taking an NFL single-game playoff record nine sacks. Seattle invests in Kelvin Banks Jr. here to fix that as he can play at either tackle or guard. As a tackle at Texas, he had the lowest QB pressure rate (1.9%) of any tackle in college football in the span of his career (minimum 1,000 snaps played), per CBS Sports Research."

Pick: Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama

"The Seahawks seem to be leaning into a ball-control, run-heavy offense, even with the addition of QB Sam Darnold. There is a starting job open at guard, where the ascending Booker can establish himself as a fixture for years. He's not an elite athlete but is blessed with great power and finishing ability as a run blocker."

Pick: Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State

"When you've struggled up front for as long as the Seahawks have, perhaps the best choice for a blocker is the most versatile one. Zabel turned heads at the Senior Bowl by winning regardless of where he lined up, zipping out of his stance in run blocking and showing impressive agility, balance and knee bend in pass protection. The Seahawks have placed a lot of emphasis on the Senior Bowl during John Schneider's time as general manager, and Zabel was the best blocker there."

Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

"The Seahawks picked up Cooper Kupp, who will help them, but the 6-foot-5 McMillan is built more like a DK Metcalf replacement."

Pick: Jaxson Dart, QB, Mississippi

"Sam Darnold could be the next face of the franchise. He could also be a one-year write-off if he reverts to his pre-2024 Pro Bowl form. Dart's stock has seemed to be steadily rising in recent months after a very strong senior season with the Rebels – nobody threw for more yards (4,279) or was more efficient in the SEC last year. An excellent athlete who ran coach Lane Kiffin's offense deftly, Dart could use more seasoning at the pro level. But it appears his services could in demand sooner in this draft than was originally anticipated, so Seattle GM John Schneider, who holds five of the first 92 selections, would probably need to invest early given the growing likelihood Dart probably won't slide into Round 2."

Pick: Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia

"Seattle's edge defenders ranked 23rd in PFF run-defense grade last season. While they acquired DeMarcus Lawrence on a sizable contract, the addition of Mykel Williams would further help that cause. Williams' experience across multiple defensive line positions would also further allow Mike Macdonald to sustain creativity in his fronts."

Pick: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

"Seattle's offense will look very different in 2025, with Sam Darnold taking over for Geno Smith at quarterback and Cooper Kupp replacing DK Metcalf at receiver. But the Seahawks still need more help at receiver (they also released Tyler Lockett) and on the interior of the offensive line. We'll have the Seahawks fill the former with Golden, a big-play outside receiver who can complement Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Golden was a deep threat for Texas, with an FBS-best 23 receptions for more than 20 yards. He also ran a blazing 4.29 40 at the combine, the best of any offensive player. He is a polished route runner with sure hands, plus-level production and top athletic tools."
