The 2025 NFL Draft is a little over 2 months months away, taking place from April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Seattle Seahawks hold the No. 18 overall selection in the first round. Here's what the national media thinks Seattle will do with their first-rounder.

Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
"Seattle fans would rather the team address the trenches in Round 1, but general manager John Schneider has shown in the past that he values the linebacker position more than others (i.e., the Jordyn Brooks pick in 2020). So while there's a strong case for Alabama guard Tyler Booker here if Seattle goes all-in on running the ball in 2025, I'm looking more at how Campbell's three-down impact could fill a massive hole.
Additionally, Campbell would also bring value as a pass rusher on third down, with five sacks in 2024. He is the closest thing coach Mike Macdonald can get to what he had with Roquan Smith in Baltimore."
Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT/G, Texas
"With two reasonably young tackles on the roster in Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas, the Seahawks make this selection with the idea of simply putting the five best blockers on the field. Kelvin Banks Jr. can start his career at left or right guard in Seattle."
Pick: Donovan Jackson, G/T, Ohio State
"Perhaps no player elevated his stock throughout the College Football Playoff more than Jackson, who kicked to left tackle out of necessity and proved he could do that job just as capably as play guard. Jackson (6-4, 320) allowed zero sacks and just two pressures over his final eight games at left tackle."
Pick: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
"Nick Emmanwori to Seattle is one of my favorite pairings in the first round. Head coach Mike Macdonald had Kyle Hamilton in Baltimore and now gets his big, versatile defender in the Pacific Northwest."
Pick: Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M
"Even among a deep group of Power Five prospects, Mike Green has risen up the ranks. After a standout season at Marshall, where he finished as the highest-graded edge defender in the nation, Green validated his talent at the Senior Bowl, flashing against NFL-caliber competition.
With the Buccaneers holding just one proven edge rusher — Yaya Diaby — under contract and limited cap space, Green could step in and make an immediate impact on Tampa Bay's defense."
Pick: Armand Membou, OL, Missouri
"A 6-4, 320-pounder who can step right in at either guard position to help RBs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet."
Pick: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
"The Seahawks need interior offensive line help, but they could trade back to get it. If they stay here, Burden can take over for Tyler Lockett if the team parts ways with him this offseason."
Pick: Armand Membou, OL, Missouri
"Membou is just 6-foot-3 ... and I do not care. He was one of the most reliable right tackles in college football in 2024 and while he doesn't have ideal size, based on his tape alone, he's a guy who you put at right tackle until he proves he can't handle it at the next level. Worst case: You have a perennial Pro Bowl guard for the next decade."
