Here's what national media thinks Seattle will do with their first-rounder:
Pick: Armand Membou, OT/G, Missouri
"Membou can play tackle or guard, but Seattle will be fixating on the interior. Maybe Membou could replace free agent Laken Tomlinson at left guard, while providing insurance for oft-injured right tackle Abraham Lucas. He's very good in pass protection and shows some pop at the point of attack. And he's experienced, with more than 2,000 career snaps."
Pick: Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
"Tyler Booker is an NFL-ready guard who'd bolster the Seahawks' run-game woes from 2024."
Pick: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
"Mike Macdonald looks back to his old stomping grounds at Michigan to select Grant, who would be part of a great interior trio with Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy II. Keep in mind that Jarran Reed and Johnathan Hankins are headed for free agency."
Pick: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
"Sticking with this projection, which is where I had Milroe in my earlier draft. I don't see another QB sneaking into the first round. Let's see how the process goes for Jaxson Dart."
Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT/G, Texas
"There are plenty of differing opinions around the league on Banks. Some see him as a tackle; others as a guard. Some think he could sneak into the top 15; others see more of a late first-rounder. The Seahawks' issues on the offensive line extend beyond their personnel, but Banks has "quality starter" written all over him and would help stabilize things."
Pick: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
"The Seahawks desperately need help along the interior offensive line, so while this may be generally considered a little bit high to take a guard, I doubt many Seahawks fans will be hand-wringing about positional value when Booker comes in and starts from day one. The Alabama standout is a road grader who plays with power in the run game, clearing out lanes and steamrolling defensive linemen. He should help boost Seattle's anemic run game and give Geno Smith more workable pockets for the passing game."
Pick: Josh Simmons, OL, Ohio State
"It has been the same old story in Seattle for a decade or more. A porous offensive line is keeping the Seahawks from taking flight. Simmons initially caught scouts' attention at San Diego State and played well for the Buckeyes prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury in October. If teams are satisfied with his recovery, he'll be a first-round selection this spring. He has the girth to play guard and the athleticism for tackle, giving Seattle much-needed flexibility."
Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas
"Despite starting the season as a projected top-10 pick, Banks has a real chance to slide out of the top 15. He faces similar questions as Campbell regarding arm length and his ability to stick at tackle long term, but Seattle can improve at both tackle and guard. Banks, who allowed only one sack and two quarterback hits this season, is athletic, strong and capable of filling either spot as a rookie."
Pick: Armand Membou, OT/G, Missouri
"Upon firing offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb after just one season, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald made it clear he wants to pivot to an approach that more heavily emphasizes a hard-charging rushing attack. The overwhelmingly powerful Membou can help fulfill that vision, whether by remaining at right tackle or moving inside to address Seattle's biggest problem area."
Pick: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
"Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald gets his leader of the secondary with the selection of Malaki Starks, who brings a healthy combination of keen awareness and athleticism to the football field."
Pick: Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia
"The Seahawks fielded one of the five lowest-graded interior offensive lines in the NFL this season. While Milum was a starting tackle for West Virginia in all four of his years with the team, he has the ability to kick inside to guard. The senior was stellar this past season, leading all FBS tackles in PFF pass-blocking grade and placing third in PFF run-blocking grade."
Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
"Freak linebackers who can rush the passer and be your Tampa 2 dropper? Sign me up! Campbell in Mike Macdonald's defense would be a perfect fit."
Pick: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
"The durability concerns surrounding right tackle Abraham Lucas are becoming a long-term issue, as he has been limited to 13 games over the past two seasons. Finding a player who can develop inside at guard and eventually replace Lucas or could slot in at tackle right away should be a priority. The 6-4, 315-pound Conerly made a huge leap in his second season as a starter, allowing only one sack and five pressures. He could be Lucas' heir apparent or jump in somewhere else on Seattle's line."
