Hours before the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft kicks off in Chicago, Illinois, Pete Carroll has dropped the first of his #SeahawksDraftClues, playful hints at which players Seattle might select that the head coach has released on Twitter during each of his drafts in the Pacific Northwest.
"Hope you're ready, they're the best ever," Carroll alluded on his takeover of the team's Snapchat account ('Seahawks')Â Thursday morning. "You're going to have to dig in deep to figure it out."
Carroll's initial clue featured comedian Eddie Murphy performing a six-minute stand-up routine on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" in 1982, when Murphy was part of the "Saturday Night Live" crew.
What the clip has to do with the talent in this year's draft class is up for interpretation; quarterback Russell Wilson is "mad" that he "can't figure it out." But be sure to come back and check this post during all three days of the NFL's annual selection process to keep tabs on Carroll's latest Seahawks draft clues.Â
